Condition report and install an exhibition
You are the Exhibitions Officer in Gallery and Exhibitions.
What has happened
Surface Tension brings together six ceramic artists and opens on 2 October. Installation runs from 29 September, three works have yet to arrive, and the Production Risk Assessment for the install is not signed. The works include heavy glazed wall panels that need rated fixings, a floor installation of 300 tiles with an uneven surface, raku vessels with fragile surfaces and a work with an existing hairline crack recorded on its incoming report. One artist's panels come with a cultural protocol note about handling and photography. The elevated work platform was used without its pre-start checklist last week and a hazard entry is open in the WHS register.

Evidence guide
Condition reports must describe and photograph existing damage accurately and be countersigned where the lender is present. The risk assessment must rate the platform and manual handling realistically with named controls. The plan must show rated fixings, a one metre access path and accessible labels, and the cultural protocol must be applied to handling and photography, not just acknowledged.
